ATTORNEY

Kathryn
Shilling

I was born in Frankfurt, Germany, but grew up a Texas girl in the Fort Worth area.  I attended the University of Texas at Arlington and the University of Tulsa School of Law.  Following law school, I worked as an attorney for the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Dallas, and later, the Second District Court of Appeals in Fort Worth.  I enjoy research and handling complex motions and appeals.

Outside of work, I enjoy working in my yard, taking care of plants and flowers, my running group, taking long-weekend trips to Walt Disney World, spending time with my daughter and son-in-law, and traveling to Norway to visit my older daughter’s family.  Fun fact about my Norway daughter:  She persuaded me to sign up for our first marathon at Disney World because she wanted the “Mickey Mouse” medal.  Since then, we have completed 12 Disney marathons together, and even one in Las Vegas, and it was “all started by a mouse”.
